the truth about infj

As a person who loves psychology, I find the Meyers Briggs personality test to be a fascinating and beautiful way to get to know someone. Even though some people (like my boyfriend) don't agree, I have to say that as an infj I find it liberating to be labeled into my category. Not many people understand my ways and it helps to know this is because only 2% of the population shares my type. I love learning about people through this and I believe it's a great way to understand yourself. What do you all think?

Tell me about your 4 characteristics and how it has helped you!! Here are some pinterest shots from mine (introverted, intuitive, feelings, and judgemental)

Black to Blue Ombre and how to dye your hair yourself

These are some pictures of my black to blue ombre (and at times brown to blue):
This was my first attempt at dying my hair blue. The first time you put blue hair dye on your bleach blonde hair, it will turn green. You need to put blue color on it one more time to get this outcome..

This color was sky blue by ion color. You can find a tube of this for $5 at sallys beauty supply.
This was the color when I switched to aqua. I did this to make sure the color stayed vibrant. The more times you re dye the blue, the smarter it is to use a lighter color each time. Otherwise it will turn a very dark blue which is less noticable.
This was my brown to blue ombre before I dyed my hair black. This is my natural color but I keep the roots NOT gray with wella hair dye in the color chesnut. This is also at sallys.

If you plan on an ombre, it is best to bleach the section of your hair and then put on a color preferably like Ion colors from sallys or manic panic that doesn't require more bleach when you add the color to your hair.

If you do an ombre like mine, it makes it easier to out your hair in pigtails when you bleach so you can see that both sides will be even.

What hair tips do you have when dying your hair?

Everyday Makeup Look

So before you judge me, let me start off by saying you don't need this ENTIRE list of products in order to have a simple everyday makeup look. I have picked the top product from my collections to show you what I use for my day to day look. Have I used all of these before together? YES. And more often than I will admit to the internet. However for day to day, I normally do not apply individual lashes and some days I will completely skip the foundation and concealer to show off my natural freckles. So let's get started!

Here are the top picks for an everyday make up look not necessarily from left to right:

Cetaphil daily moisturizer  (which I always apply and wait a couple minutes before adding my foundation)- I use this when I wake up and every night before I go to bed. It's my prayer to the skin gods.

Next up is my nyx liquid stay matte foundation. As you can see from my pictures, I am a pale vampire. My color currently is smf04. Take that twilight!

Also pictured is a sample of cover fx concealer which I have had for over a year. They gave me a 4th of a tube from sephora which I'm still working on but HOLY SHIT BALLS it's sooo good! I will eventually try their entire collection when I win the lottery or I meet an old person who loves me so much they give me their fortune.

Underneath I have NARS  orgasm highlighter. It is the sweet nectar of the gods people. The only thing better is MAC shell highlighter (they refer to it as cream colour base on their site) and I have run out. If you take nothing from this, please please please please buy yourself some good highlighter!!! It is the whipped cream to your face sundae and you will be a glowing goddess if you try it!

In the middle, we have the bronzer and blush I am using with my vampire skin. Now anastasia Beverly Hills... good lord they know what they're doing. I personally picked the medium palette because I have an unhealthy obsession with making my makeup an 80s vibe and I like to look more bronzed than I really am. The natural look is boring to me. So get this palette if you can afford it because it is worth the hype. There are tons of YouTube videos on how to use it properly and they are constantly selling out at ulta. Worth the buy.

I have put my two faced blush in candy glow in the mix. I have the darker one for my brown hair when I dye it that and I know nina uses the lightest one alot on her beautful blonde hair. We are obsessed.

Right next to that is anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow gel in ebony. I use chocolate when I have brown hair. Now if you can see in the picture, I have barely scraped into the ebony. I've been using this for over a year! So worth the money! I get compliments all the time on my eyebrows and I always try and pursue them to use this product. You can do no wrong. You want to go swimming? It will stay. You want to go in the ocean and take pictures with the manatees while looking gorg? No probs. Did it last year and it's the only reason I stick with this product. Nothing like crappy brow gels making you look like a spawn of Satan after a beach party. But not with this stuff.

The last products I have are my loreal power volume mascara which I'm currently in love with over the orange cover girl mascara I always use. I also have my lip liner that I got from ulta and my tea rose blush from nyx that I'm actually using as lipstick because I can't find my tea rose lipstick from nyx. It's basically the same thing. RIP YOU BEATIFIC TUBE OF LIPSTICK. I WILL FIND YOU.

See my other blogs about nature's Bounty and ardell lashes for the remaining parts of the picture and let us know your day to day makeup. I'll leave you with a little selfie of those products together (since you asked nicely.)

Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin, & Nails Gummies!!!

Nature's Bounty Vitamins
By Tash

I, like every woman in the world, am on a mission to have full, long, gorgeous locks like those ladies in the magazines. HOWEVER.... I have been trying to grow my hair for about 3 or 4 years going from:

 To

 ....
Not much of a move right? Maybe four or so inches..

I have tried everything from prenatal vitamins, regular vitamins, extreme pinterest hair masks, and adding suspicious refrigerated ingredients for hours on my hair.

The product that I feel helps the most are my nature's Bounty vitamins.

I have a phobia of taking pills which is where I ran into these gummies. I can't be a normal biotin driven consumer because none of those are in liquid or powder form. Something about crushing up pills just makes me feel like a bad person and I can't justify putting biotin in my apple sauce and taking it that way. These gummies are delicious and have a strawberry flavoring. I will warn you if you buy the extra biotin ones, they are less yummy than the originals. But they are totally worth it.

What regimens do you all take for longer, healthier hair?

Ardell individual Lashes Review

Review on Arden Individual Lashes:
By Tash

Since I'm a bit of a skeptic when it comes to fake lashes, I was hesitant to try the Ardell Individual Lashes that were on sell at my work this week (@ Krogers for $2.99.) Usually with fake lashes, I have the problem of the lashes not being as long as my natural lashes (I know.. cry about it!) and it makes it pointless to buy them. However with all of those beautiful pictures on instagram and pinterest, I thought I'd give the individual lashes a try. I was not disappointed!

Now since I normally apply fake lashes with glue from the tube, I also picked up the Ardell clear adhesive from Ardell in the bottle. It didnt' hurt that it was $2.99 as well. Looking back, the tube would have been just fine to use.

Most people in videos I see use their tweezers to put these lashes on. I found it helpful on the right side but the left side ..let's just say I'm lucky I got any to stick. It's my derp eye anyways :). But none the less, I eventually got both sides on pretty smoothly.

These lashes have lasted 3 days without falling off including the shower and the eye rubs I've tested them with. They are amazing! I didn't use anything besides a little bit of my volume mascara from L'Oreal (Power Volume 24hr in blackest black) and it has worked perfectly. I feel like at this point they could keep on for a whole week. You are supposed to use eye makeup remover to remove the lashes, but I didn't have a problem taking off a couple with hot water and some focus when I decided I put too many on.

Overall this is a great bargain for the quality of the lashes. Usually these lashes run anywhere from $5-10 a box, so if you see any on sale, make sure to grab them!

I will post some pictures of the products and let me know what you think!

Hugs and kisses,
Tash
